چکیده
This study investigates and provides a solution for optimizing the photocatalytic treatment of toxic gases based on use TiO2 media deposited luminous textiles. The target was cyclohexane referent type A gas filtration tests. supports were characterized by scanning electron microscopy. Then, experiments conducted batch reactor showed that TiO2-coated optical fiber (in situ illumination configuration) performs better than conventional configuration (cellulosic with external radiation ''UV lamp''. To take advantage new configuration, an intensification carried out increasing amount in UV intensities LED. Increasing these two parameters leads to approximately fourfold increase degradation rate. continuous allowed highlight efficiency front flow reactors developed (PFR-LED) compared configuration. increased is demonstrated specific rate optimized PFR-LED reactor. performance evaluation compact configurations frontal (PFR-LED Optimized) aimed influence inlet concentration under different rates. Furthermore, effect number shows selectivity are enhanced. results obtained using four (4OF/4UV-LED) 1.19 mmol·m−3 input at 18 L.min−1 optimal humidity conditions (38 %), constituting ultimate CO2 achieved (31 %) abatement 59 %. global investigation has design version economical efficient way eliminate gaseous pollutants, which clearly meets main aims UN Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs).

UV/Tio2 photocatalytic reactor for real textile wastewaters treatment.
Textile dye wastewaters are characterized by strong colour, salts and other additives, high pH, temperature, chemical oxygen demand (COD) and biodegradable materials. Being aesthetically and environmentally unacceptable, these wastewaters need to be treated before their discharge. Anaerobic bioprocesses have been proposed as being environmentally friendly and relatively cheap; however, when app...
متن کاملOptimization of Photocatalytic Degradation of Phenol Using Simple Photocatalytic Reactor
The phenol photocatalytic degradation was investigated using heterogeneous catalyst Ag-doped ZnO nanowires under UV irradiation. Ag-ZnO nanowires were immobilized on borosilicate glass via a simple hydrothermal technique. Preliminary photodegradation studies were performed with Ag-ZnO nanowires at various concentrations of phenol (10 60 mg/L) at undiluted pH. After determination of the optimal ...
متن کاملPhotocatalytic solar tower reactor for the elimination of a low concentration of VOCs.
We developed a photocatalytic solar tower reactor for the elimination of low concentrations of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) typically emitted from small industrial establishments. The photocatalytic system can be installed in a narrow space, as the reactor is cylindrical-shaped. The photocatalytic reactor was placed vertically in the center of a cylindrical scattering mirror, and this vert...
متن کاملAn experimental investigation and modelling of fluid flow in solar photocatalytic reactor for contaminated water treatment
Different types of solar photocatalytic reactors exists in the literature for water treatment, Thin-film fixed-bed reactor (TFFBR) is one of them which is used in this study because of its high surface area to volume ratio for water treatment. TFFBR is an inclined plate coated with P25 TiO2 DEGUSSA over which contaminated water flows during treatment. The TFFBR also contains a pump, by which th...
